Here is a photo of us sitting in the United Nations General Assembly hall at Rwanda's seat. All of us made a point to find Rwanda's seat (which is only a few rows directly behind Israel) and visit it!

In the first row, we are Micha, Ariana, and me (Sara).
In the second row, we are Tali and Zoe.

Sara, hi there?

You can not imagine how i am so pleased to see this photo. More interesting is how you had to take a photo at Rwanda's seat. You people you are so lovely. Now because you put the photo here, a part from Ariana, and if i am not mistaken Micha is this gentleman? am i right?, then Sara? You know most of the time the names can tell that this is a lady or the gentleman.
On the second row, who is Zoe and Tali?

Thanks a lot for this nice photo

Stay well.

Hi Odeth,

We were at the United Nations for a conference that was put on by students from Columbia University and the United Nations. It was a very interesting conference and we got a chance to visit the United Nations General Assembly Hall. Naturally, we went looking for Israel's seat and Rwanda's seat!

In order, starting with the gentleman in the first row, you can see Micha, then Ariana in the middle, and me on the far right with straight blond hair. In the back, Tali has curly blond hair and Zoe has short brown hair.

Jewish names are often hard to tell apart! Micha is a boy's name. We have four men participating in the the blog: Micha, Roie, Daniel and Evan. The other six, Ariana, Tali, Zoe, Tamar, Hany and Alexandra, are all women. I think this is sometimes the case with Rwandan names. When the person uses their Christian name, I can usually tell if it is a woman or a man, but sometimes I get confused!

I'm glad you enjoyed the photo :)

Hi Sara?
Thanks for the clarification. Yes, you are right even some Rwandan names sometimes confusing.

Be well.

Hi Odeth!

Thank you for complimenting us on the picture. While we were in the General Assembly Hall at the United Nations, we were so excited to take a picture at the Rwanda seat! I felt really connected to our co-bloggers.

It was sentimental in a really sweet and encouraging sort of way, that you have become a part of who we are and we think about you in our travels!

Do you know how to post pictures of yourself? If you do, I would love to see some!

Hope you are doing well!!

Zoe :)

Hi Odeth,

Thank you for sharing this beautiful picture with us!
You emanate such a warm nature!!!
I am already looking forward to meeting you in person!

And I can only agree with Zoe, it is amazing to see how we already naturally on our travels are looking for connections with Rwanda. I think in those 6 days that we were in New York not a single day passed by without having anything to do with Rwanda! =)

All the best,
Tali
