Hello my Brother,
Hope you are well.
The past few days had been a miracle for some of us in Jos and for some a nightmare. The Jos crisis has changed the lives of many, we loss some of our friends and others (over 25,000) made homeless, Over 370 people loss their lives, a member of my organisation who is a Corp Member Serving in Jos, who was on phone with the parents... and screamed "They are coming" he tried to run for safety but he was killed, the parents tried reaching him on phone again, he killer answered their call saying "I don kill am" (I've killed Him)
Many have survival stories to tell, Life is indeed a miracle to many. We feel so blessed we are safe and can provide safety for others. Many thanks for some of my facebook friends who have been in touch on phone all through the period.
Especially those who sent in money, clothing, medicines and other relief materials for victims. You can still ask us how you may still help? As the situation is calming down, Please JOIN US in Prayers for sustainable Peace and Protection. Presently, we are collecting support gifts for the displaced and some of our people who are directly affected and made frustrated and homeless.
Mr Michael Akpan (also a member of our group) lost his family home and his younger brother was shot in the head and burnt to ashes during the mayhem. We are organising help for him to start up life in a small note.
Join us in this hour of need! Peace, love and Blessings to you all.
Amedu Monday Amedu, YELI President.
