What is our Mission?
Between Four Eyes facilitates educational workshops to explore mindful awareness as a way to foster peaceful and conflict resolving lifestyles. Workshops engage participants through large and small group dialogue, which build on the gifts and uniqueness of local citizens. We address existing challenges that face personal and community restoration and seed conversations to support a context for living that promotes change, distinct from the past.

What is a Teacher Ambassador (TA)?
A Teacher Ambassador is a critical thinker who has an openness to learn and the enthusiasm, skills and relevant experience needed to train international partners in mindful awareness-based education and practices. TA's will be responsible for helping implement Between Four Eyes' mission and educational programs.

Who can apply?
TA candidacy will be exclusive to any individual with a minimum of a Bachelors Degree, United States citizenship and full-time residency in the United States. Pending funding, future recruitment will include applicants from international communities.

What are Teacher Ambassador Program requirements?

Step Two: Accepted applicants can expect to attend a minimum of six interdisciplinary    educational workshops, designed to build teacher training skill-sets and professional development competencies.

Step Three: Upon completion of the teacher trainer program requirements, applicants are required to participate in an educational internship program as selected by Between Four Eyes. In addition, applicants will receive training in Between Four Eyes operational procedures, strategies and on-site protocols.

Step Four: Applicants participate in a final interview, prior to approval as a Between Four Eyes Teacher Ambassador. TA's must be willing to make a two-year commitment and meet specific criteria that Between Four Eyes deems critical to a successful teaching experience abroad. Between Four Eyes will negotiate Teacher Ambassador working contracts after the successful completion of the four-step training process.

What are course tuition and fees?
Between Four Eyes will finalize these details with applicants during the interview process. Applicants will receive substantial financial support for teacher training development.

When do Teacher Ambassadors travel abroad?
The next phase of TA placements to the Middle East and East Africa will commence in Spring 2010. TA's must have a valid U.S. passport, required vaccinations and visas.
